Park Jung Hwan is suing his former DJ DOC members Lee Haneul and Kim Changryul for libel. A source revealed on November 15th that Park Jung Hwan filed a lawsuit at the Seoul YoungdeungPo Police Station against Lee Haneul and Kim Changryul for comments they made during a recent broadcast, in which they (according to him), "said things that were different from the truth to offend him." Park Jung Hwan was a member of DJ DOC when their first album, 'Superman's Sorrow', was released back in 1994. However, he was replaced by Jung Jaeyong from the second album onward, and a clear reason was not given as to why he left so suddenly. The conflict in question stems from Lee Haneul's recent appearance on the November 3rd broadcast of KBS's 'Happy Together 3'. He had stated, "Park Jung Hwan lacked a sense of rhythm", to which Kim Changryul added, "Lee Haneul said that he would leave the team first, so I stopped him. He [Park Jung Hwan] was rhythmically challenged". After their revelation, a past footage of Park Jung Hwan dancing was shown as "evidence" for his lack of rhythm. Angered by their remarks, Park Jung Hwan filed a lawsuit on the 15th which stated, "The plaintiff did not leave DJ DOC on amicable terms. The defendants attacked the plaintiff by using his real name on a public broadcast and by stating that he was replaced because he was 'rhythmically challenged'. The lies they told for entertainment purposes have personally attacked and offended the plaintiff's reputation." Be sure to check back to allkpop for more updates on this matter.
