A bevy of prominent individuals from the Korean music industry have come together to establish Korea's first ever 'musician incubation system' called the "Modern K Music Academy". Cube Entertainment CEO Hong Seung Sung, Modern Music Academy CEO Kim Hyung Kyu, Rainbow Bridge CEO Kim Jin Woo, composers Kim Do Hoon and Shinsadong Tiger, and lyricists Choi Kap Won and Choi Sung Jin have come together to create a system that will grow and secure artists for the future of Hallyu. Utilizing Modern Music Academy's 12 years of experience as its base, the group will be combining it with Rainbow Bridge's music consulting program to 'incubate' and train musicians in both Korea and overseas. Because Korea doesn't have a rookie development system, the system is expected to create waves for smaller agencies that don't have the funds to discover and train their own talents for extensive periods of time.
