On the August 7th episode of MBC's 'I Am a Singer', the contestants were shown preparing for part 2 of round 5. During this mid-point evaluation episode, singers Kim Bum Soo and Park Jung Hyun excited with a special duet of 'Scars Deeper than Love'. Kim Bum Soo confessed, "This stage is like a dream," expressing his excitement. 'Scars Deeper than Love' was originally a duet between Park Jung Hyun and singer Im Jae Bum, and it became a widely-loved piece. As their voices melded in perfect harmony, the other members praised, "Now I know why these two people lasted until the end on 'I Am a Singer'." Park Jung Hyun and Kim Bum Soo had also recently released a music video for their philanthropic single album, 'Hwang Project Vol. 2', called "Person, Love".
