KBS's idol music show, 'Immortal Song 2', has made the final decision to not release their songs onto the digital music market. Through Star News, CP Kim revealed, "We thought of releasing digital songs due to the requests we were receiving from viewers, but we've decided in the end that we won't be doing it." Kim continued, "Viewers thought it was uncomfortable how they had to go back and re-watch episodes in order to listen to their favorite songs again, making us consider releasing them digitally. However, after discussing it with the artists, they were afraid of disturbing the gayo market and were against the idea." He concluded, "Some were for the idea of releasing digital songs, which is why we eventually settled on the idea of releasing physical CDs." Thus, 'Immortal Song 2' will be releasing special CD packages containing songs from the show later on this year. Profits made from the CDs will be donated to the KBS Kang Tae Won Welfare Foundation.
