On March 28th, singer Yangpa broke her four-year hiatus by dropping her comeback mini-album, "Elegy Nouveau"! Starting with the medium-tempo track, "I Wish It Were You", the album moves onto her title track, "It Hurts". It then quickly switches up to deliver a fun mix of swing, jazz, and rock with "That Person Then", and is followed up by her duet with B2ST's Doojoon, "Bon Appetit". "Elegy Nouveau" then concludes with "Friend", which delivers her traditional ballad style. For her promotions, Yangpa will be promoting "It Hurts", a sorrowful track co-produced by Kim Do Hoon and Wheesung. Her title track blends the sounds of piano melodies and string instruments to express the pain of a woman who refuses to let her past love go. Recently, the singer revealed, "I've been watching 'I Am A Singer' lately. It's fantastic that more spotlight is being shed on some of the top artists of our nation again.
