The Women's Sports Foundation will celebrate one of the largest nights in Women's Sports and commemorate its 31st year in thanking female athletes who have accomplished so much and have been an inspiration to many. Figure skating Queen Kim Yuna is one of the finalists for the 2010 Sportswoman of the Year Award. What's noteworthy about this nomination is that not only is Kim Yuna the youngest of the finalists, she is also the only Asian representative athlete of the whole event. The winner of the Sportswoman of the Year Award will be announced on the Awards night which will be held on the Tuesday, October 12 at Astoria, New York City. Meanwhile, Kim Yuna has signed on with American Peter Oppegard to be her new coach for the upcoming season and she will be training at the East West Ice Palace in Los Angeles. Good luck to Yuna!
