This past February, Family Outing switched up their style by changing their members for a new season. They ended up with a stellar cast with Ji Sang Ryul, Kim Won Hee, 2PM's Taecyeon, 2AM's Jokwon, Yoon Sang Hyun and SNSD's Yoona. Even though it was an anticipated show, the ratings completely plummeted, setting new lows every week. Because of the low ratings, people suspected that the show might be coming to an end. Family Outing 2's rep said to OSEN on the 9th, "Family Outing 2's early cancellation of the show is completely false. Does it make sense to end a show after the first five episodes? It's such a shock to even hear about this rumor." Another associate said, "It's a very random rumor. If a broadcast station was creating a new program in replacement of this show, wouldn't people hear about it? If there was a program that was supposed to air after FO2, people would know." There was even a rumor that the next program would star Yoo Jae Suk, the first season's main MC. Though FO2 is very unpopular at the moment, who knows? It could rise in popularity at any moment. This is my personal opinion but I think the show isn't doing so well because the cast always seems tired and bored. They can't handle the hard work that this variety show is and they don't have fun with it like the first season's cast did. But Family Outing started out with low ratings but got popular later on. Who's to say that this can't happen to FO2?
