'The Red Sleeve' actor Kang Hoon revealed his love for Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
On the February 2 KST broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star', the cast members of the popular drama 'The Red Sleeve' appeared as guests. Here, actor Kang Hoon revealed how he became an actor, after giving up basketball. When MC Kim Gook Jin asked, "You said there was a particular idol group that made you decide to become an actor?" To this, Kang Hoon replied, "After giving up basketball, I was at a stage where I was searching for my dream. I was around 18 years old then, and that's when Girl's Generation and Wonder Girls were at the top. I started to really like Girls' Generation."
He continued, "I thought to myself, 'how can I meet them?' I knew that because I can't sing or dance well, I couldn't become a singer. But I wondered, 'Wouldn't I be able to act?' Like that, I started acting with the thought that I could meet her." MC Kim Gu Ra then asked, "Who did you want to meet the most among Girls' Generation?" To this, Kang Hoon answered, "Girls' Generation's Taeyeon... She was the first and last idol I ever liked."
