Just last month, a YouTuber named 'Bit-Hoon' told a story of how BTS' Suga once took care of him when he was sick. As a former trainee who used to live with BTS, Ji Hoon (the narrator) further discussed the amount of genuine care and level of teamwork among the members.
"What made BTS different from trainees of other companies was that there was no competition between the members," he began. "One day, I remember how Namjoon (RM) rounded all of us together to stress the importance of 'friendly competition'. He said, 'Jihoon, you may debut before me, or somebody else might,' but the important thing is that we must always support each other."
Furthermore, the ex-trainee revealed how crazy and intimate their dorm life was. "We were rarely apart. We had these funny situations where one person would be in the shower, one person would be using the toilet, and another person would brush his teeth all at the same time. That's how close we were."
He continued, "we all know how there are many celebrities and idols out there who pretend to be someone else on television. But the BTS members are all really genuine. What you see on screen is their real identity. The members are sometimes dumb, cute, and really passionate, kind of like pure innocence?"
"If you go on YouTube, there are many videos explaining the reasons behind BTS' success," argued Jihoon. "But, if you ask me, for someone who had been stuck to those members for one full year, I can say truthfully as a 3rd party that the main reasons why they became successful were that they are nice people, and that RM is a good leader."
At the end of the video, Jihoon announced that he is willing to share more stories and upload English subtitles to his videos in the future.
i'm not surprised about what he said about them, there are many stories about how genuine, caring, respectful and humble they are from people working behind the scenes at music shows to their backup dancers, other celebs. I truly believe what we see on camera is how they are behind it, and you can't say that about others. I love how they always support each other no matter what or in anyway they can, a real family
