Former Click-B member Kim Sang Hyuk is set to open up about his hardships, including a massive fraud case and years away from the spotlight, on the upcoming episode of KBS2’s 'Mr. House Husband 2'.
On April 5th, the show announced that Kim will appear as the second guest in the “Retro House Husband” segment. Now running a restaurant, he is shown handing out flyers on the street, fully immersed in day-to-day survival.
Reflecting on his 20-year hiatus following a 2005 DUI incident, Kim admits, “It was hard to return because of how people looked at me.” He continued, “Back then, I thought stepping outside the house would be a disaster. The criticism was intense — I had gone from being loved to suddenly feeling the opposite, and it was overwhelming.”
He also makes a shocking confession about his current financial situation, revealing that he was the victim of a ₩2.3 billion (approximately $1.7 million USD) fraud. “I had to sell two homes worth tens of billions of won. Now, I live in a small 15-pyeong (approx. 530 sq. ft) home with my mother,” he said.
Kim’s candid appearance is expected to draw empathy from viewers as he shares both his regrets and his path to rebuilding his life.
