Former I.O.I member Zhou Jieqiong(Kyulkyung) has been caught up in dating rumors with Chinese singer and dancer Oscar.

On March 3rd, Chinese media outlets, including Sohu Entertainment, reported that Zhou Jieqiong and Oscar were rumored to be dating.

Paparazzi footage released by the media showed the two wearing matching outfits and entering the same apartment complex late at night. Zhou Jieqiong, wearing a red cap, was seen chatting warmly with Oscar while looking at her phone, fueling speculation about their relationship.

However, both parties quickly denied the rumors. Zhou Jieqiong responded on her personal account with a brief message: “Did you just wake up?” Meanwhile, Oscar stated, “We are just friends,” adding that they had simply watched the Oscars ceremony together.

Born in 1998, Zhou Jieqiong gained fame after finishing 6th place on Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ in 2016, debuting as a member of I.O.I. She later joined PRISTIN and was active from 2017 to 2019. Since 2020, she has been pursuing a solo career in China, establishing Zhou Jieqiong Studio.

Oscar, also known as Oscar Wang, is a Chinese singer and dancer. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1998, he previously trained under CUBE Entertainment for three years. He gained popularity through his appearances on Youku’s idol survival show ‘We Are Young’ (2020) and Tencent’s ‘CHUANG 2021’, competing under the stage name Oscar.
