‘Running Man’ sparks laughter with phone charging race and Sakura’s sibling story
The March 23rd KST episode of SBS’s ‘Running Man’ featured a “Charge to Leave” race that brought plenty of laughs to viewers.
In the episode, members had to charge their dead phones in order to video call and “check out” of the show. To earn charging time, they were shown past photos of themselves—each accompanied by outrageous nicknames.
Yoo Jae Suk was given the nickname “I still earn more than Seok Jin hyung looking like this”, while others were tagged as “Real-life Jang Chen from The Outlaws” and “Seosan Mudskipper”, drawing laughter from everyone on set.
LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura joined the episode as a guest and displayed her strong variety skills. She revealed, “My younger brother doesn’t like LE SSERAFIM. He’s into IVE and aespa,” catching the cast off guard. Her candid story about her 12-year age gap with her brother and their sibling dynamics brought big laughs.
With Sakura shining as a “certified variety gem” and the cast racing to earn their way home through phone charging, the episode delivered yet another dose of weekend fun for viewers.
