On April 12, rising boy group NCT WISH staged their first-ever show in Manila, Philippines, as part of their 'LOG in' tour.
Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya brought high-octane team performances to the stage throughout the concert, showcasing tracks like "WISH," "Steady," "Miracle," "Touchdown," "Songbird," and "Make You Shine," among others. Adding to the performance, NCT WISH also covered NCT Dream's “Smoothie,” Taeyong’s “Tap,” and Girls’ Generation’s “Kissing You.”
As the show drew to a a close, the members relayed their final messages, starting with Sakuya. "It was so good and happy to spend this time with all of you. This was actually our first time performing here in Manila, so we were a bit nervous at first. But your loud cheers gave us so much energy! That’s why I really want to come back next time. And since we’ll be making our comeback soon, I hope you’re all excited for that too. I love you. Thank you," he said.
Ryo: "Like earlier during the 'Make You Shine' performance, I really liked it that you guys all seemed to have a lot of fun. This is actually our first time performing here in Manila, and I’ve really been enjoying everything—the delicious coffee, the cookies, the ice cream—and of course, this whole performance. It’s truly been a healing moment for me. Because of all of you, I feel so recharged and motivated to do even better for our comeback. I really hope we get to come back again in the future. It’s actually my dream to perform at the Philippine Arena someday. So guys, if that day comes… will you promise to be there with us? Thank you so much!"
Jaehee: "I’ve always believed that what you do is important—but even more than that, it’s about who you do it with. I was truly, truly happy that we got to stand on the stage we love, performing together as six members—and sharing that moment with all of you made it even more meaningful. This is actually one of my favorite phrases—the one on the banner that said, 'With WISH, we can love any day.' I was so touched that you made a banner with the phrase I really, really love. Manila, I love you. I promise, we’ll be back, no matter what. Thank you."
Yushi: “I feel like our time together just really went so fast. But honestly, if you guys had fun, that means so much to us. So next time we perform, I hope we can spend even more time together. I didn’t expect that you would actually celebrate my birthday, but I truly hope to come back and make more memories with all of you. I hope we can spend more fun memories together in the future. Thank you!”
Riku: “Every time I step on stage, I always have the same thought—that the happiest moment is being on stage with all of you. Because you’re here, our Manila Czennies and all of you, it gives us more opportunity to be on the stage to have more fun with all of you. That’s why I really want to keep doing more shows and performances together with you, Czennies. Please stay with us for a long time… because that would truly make me happy. I love you.”
Sion: “Today is actually our first time performing here in the Philippines. And because of this opportunity to be part of the Asian tour, we’re able to visit different countries for the first time. That’s why, even with the things we’ve already done, we still feel nervous at times. But today, seeing so many Manila Czennies—and even Czennies who came from other countries—I just want to say thank you so much for welcoming us so warmly. Honestly, you guys are the best. There’s one more thing I really want to say: Even if you sometimes notice our shortcomings, we promise to always do our best, so that NCT WISH fans can feel proud of us. I love you. Thank you so much, Czennies. Thank you for giving us such a happy time today. I’m really so happy that Manila, being the second stop of our Asian tour, already feels like such a special gift to us."
