On March 5, MC Mong slammed SM Entertainment through a social media post.

MC Mong, the head of the music label One Hundred, wrote a lengthy post on his social media to criticize SM Entertainment and the company's A&R executive Lee Sung Soo.

MC Mong wrote, "You’re all stuck on your little island, committing nothing but savage and violent acts. As an adult, this is just embarrassing." He called out the A&R executive directly and also said, "Hey, Lee. You told me at the law office that you wanted to protect yourself from your uncle’s actions—the way he blocked broadcasts and did other incomprehensible things. But you’re worse than a snake. Watching you steal everything from your uncle, learning from him, and doing even worse things—it gives me chills. Pretending to be kind and virtuous while bullying the weak. What you’re doing now is worse than school violence. I have proof. Should I release the recordings? I’m still thinking about it.”

MC Mong's latest tirade against SM Entertainment comes in response to One Hundred's recent claim that SM pressured KBS to block Xiumin from appearing on the broadcast.

However, Korean netizens are not receptive to MC Mong's latest rant, with many distrusting his claims. They reacted:

"This is why image is so important—whether what he’s saying is true or not, everything he says just sounds like nonsense."

"Mong, just live quietly. Stop with the media play… Don’t you think people who actually served in the military would find this annoying?"

"But why do you only stop SM artists from doing group activities? Sure, it was their choice to sign with you, but why did you let VIVIZ continue as GFRIEND while blocking Taemin from even filming a single clip for the 30th-anniversary concert? You can hate SM, but SM isn’t allowed to dislike you? You only care about what’s convenient for you. Taemin spent 15 years in that company…"

"You always act like you’re the victim, but is there anyone who actually agrees with you?"

Aren’t you embarrassed about dodging the military by pulling out your teeth? LOL.

Why did Xiumin sign with that kind of company?

"Why are you recording conversations? Are you some thug trying to blackmail people?"

"Taemin is under MC Mong’s label too, but he had no issues promoting."

"As an adult, isn’t this embarrassing? Regardless of the situation, someone who avoided the military by pulling teeth really shouldn’t be talking. LOL."

"You’re even worse… ^^ This is ridiculous. Are you still stuck in the 2000s? Your way of talking is so cringe—just stay quiet."

Meanwhile, in 2023, EXO's Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen notified SM Entertainment of their intention to terminate their exclusive contracts. However, SM Entertainment alleged that an external third party was influencing the artists. SM Entertainment accused MC Mong and Big Planet Made Entertainment of attempting to poach the EXO members.

Since then, tensions remain between SM Entertainment and MC Mong and the three EXO members.

Then, on March 4, One Hundred Label accused SM Entertainment of influencing KBS. The agency claimed that KBS has unofficially conveyed that Xiumin could not appear on programs such as KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' if SM Entertainment artists were also appearing on the show at the same time.
