On an online forum, netizens are discussing how the late actress shared a photo of herself with the late ASTRO's Moonbin on his birthday last month. As many of Moonbin’s close friends paid tribute to him on that day, Kim Sae Ron also joined them by posting the photo with the words "HBD" and a heart emoji.

In light of the recent news of Kim Sae Ron’s sudden passing, netizens are sharing their sorrow and mourning her loss. Many believe that since Kim Sae Ron and Moonbin had both been active in the entertainment industry since childhood, they must have shared a close bond, along with others such as GFRIEND's SinB and SF9’s Chani. 

Moreover, Kim Sae Ron was previously signed to Fantagio, home to ASTRO, from 2009 to 2016.
