Actor Kim Ji Hoon continues his busy schedule with a new project. According to SPOTV News on February 19, Kim Ji Hoon has been cast in the upcoming tvN drama 'Impudent Love' (working title), written by Jung Yeo Rang and directed by Kim Garam.
'Impudent Love' is a romance drama that follows a detective-turned-actor aspiring to be a melodrama expert and a journalist in the entertainment department who is transferred after an incident. The drama has gained attention for the pairing of Lee Jung Jae, who solidified his position as a world-class actor with 'Squid Game,' and Lim Ji Yeon, who rose to fame as the 'top actress of the home screen' after hits like 'The Glory' and 'The Tale of Lady Ok.'
In the drama, Kim Ji Hoon will play Joo Jae Hyung, the son of a wealthy family and a sports journalist. Joo Jae Hyung is known for his warm and honest personality. After playing chilling antagonists in popular works like Lee Jae, 'Death's Game' and 'Ballerina,' Kim Ji Hoon, often called the 'sexy villain,' is expected to impress audiences once again by taking on a much more kind-hearted and thoughtful role.
'Impudent Love' is written by Jung Yeo Rang, who previously worked on 'Doctor Cha,' and directed by Kim Garam, who is known for helming the successful 2024 project 'Good Partner.' The drama is set to air in 2025.
