On the afternoon of the 19th, izna's agency Wake One announced through their official fan page, "Yoon Ji Yoon has decided to suspend activities for the time being due to health concerns and will take sufficient time to rest and recover." With Yoon Ji Yoon’s temporary hiatus, izna will continue promoting as a six-member group.

The agency further stated, "This decision was made with the artist’s health as our top priority, and we ask for your understanding," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that Izna can continue engaging with fans in good health."

izna, a girl group formed through Mnet’s girl group debut survival show 'I-Land 2', gained attention for collaborating with producer Teddy on their debut album. In November of last year, they released their debut album 'N/a', which conveys the message that "anytime, anywhere, and anything is defined as 'me'." They began their journey with the title track 'IZNA', which shares the same name as the group.

The group originally consisted of six members—Choi Jung Eun, Bang Ji Min, Yoon Ji Yoon, Coco, Yoo Sa Rang, and Mai—but during the broadcast of 'I-Land 2', main producer Taeyang surprised viewers by adding Jung Se Bi as a last-minute addition, expanding the lineup to seven members.

Since their debut, Izna has been actively engaging with global fans through music broadcasts and performances such as 'LAPOSTA 2025'. They were also named one of "K-pop Rookies to Watch This Year" by Grammy.com and have solidified their overseas fanbase, ranking first on Japan’s Apple Music K-pop Album Chart and Rakuten Music Chart immediately after debut.
