Netizens are cheering on this former idol's re-debut.

Earlier this week on February 18 KST, Beat Interactive, home to A.C.E, announced the launch of a new 7-member boy group next month, named NEWBEAT. 

The group is made up of members Park Min Seok (former contestant on Mnet's 'Boys Planet'), Hong Min Seong, Jeon Yeo Yeo Jeong, Choi Seo Hyun, Kim Tae Yang, Jo Yoon Hoo, and Kim Ri Woo. 

Notably, the re-debut of former TO1 member Jeon Yeo Yeo Jeong, known as Yeojeong during his promotions, is garnering attention. 

Born on January 29, 2005, Yeojeong joined TO1 as a minor at the age of 17. He began promoting with TO1 in July of 2022, with the release of their 3rd mini album 'Why Not??', only to have the group disband just a little over a year later in December of 2023. 

Instead of giving up on his dream, Yeojeong went on to join Beat Interactive, ultimately earning a place in the agency's new group, NEWBEAT. 

Many netizens applauded his re-debut, commenting, "Wow, he was so young during TO1. Congrats on re-debuting!", "He went through a lot with TO1... Meanwhile, global fans have been paying close attention to NEWBEAT's pre-debut activities. The group held several busking events in Korea and overseas since 2024, showcasing their passion and enthusiasm for the stage.

The 7-member boy group's debut is scheduled for March 24 KST.
