Han So Hee shared her New Year’s greetings and updates through a blog post on January 12. In her post titled “Hello” she wrote, “This year is finally passing. I suddenly bought six potted plants. I don’t know why, but I thought having living things in my home might help me grow and thrive alongside them.”
Han also opened up about her recent thoughts on societal issues and her personal emotions, writing, “The voices and news of this era make the upcoming year feel heavy for me. All I can do is express my condolences and offer a few words of comfort, which makes me feel powerless. Sometimes, I even find myself blaming the sky, even though it has done nothing wrong.”
She reflected on her personal journey, adding, “I’ve taken time to reflect on myself—my narrow perspective, mistakes, and the guilt that follows. While I’ve tried to work through these feelings, I still feel there’s much to improve.” To her fans, she wrote, “I appreciate those who stop by my blog from time to time. Asking after each other and finding value in uneventful days have become precious to me. I hope we all stay safe, feel a little less cold and hurt, and bury our tangled emotions of winter to bloom flowers in the coming spring.”
Previously, Han So Hee faced a challenging time after her public relationship with actor Ryu Jun Yeol ended in just two weeks in March of last year. At the time, she drew attention by sharing her feelings through her blog. After closing her blog, Han resumed activity in September with a vlog post and has now reopened it with her latest update.
