Big Planet Made issues official statement on Taemin’s SHINee activities.
Big Planet Made (BPM), the agency representing SHINee’s Taemin, addressed concerns regarding his participation in the group’s activities.
On January 15th KST, BPM stated, “We are aware of concerns raised due to certain posts on online communities and social media regarding Taemin’s SHINee activities. The content shared is unequivocally false, and we intend to take strong legal action against the spread of such misinformation.”
The agency affirmed its support for Taemin’s role within SHINee, stating, “Taemin holds immense affection for SHINee’s activities, and we wholeheartedly support and encourage his participation. We are committed to ensuring that he receives fair treatment and continues to thrive as both a solo artist and a SHINee member.”
BPM added, “We will actively protect Taemin and support his growth as an artist, ensuring he continues to shine in all his endeavors.”
This statement follows recent speculation surrounding Taemin’s absence from SHINee’s performance at the ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025 [THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE] in SEOUL’, held on January 11th and 12th at the Gocheok Sky Dome. SHINee members Key and Minho performed, while Taemin and Onew were notably absent. The incomplete lineup led to online discourse, with some questioning the reasons for their non-participation.
Onew’s agency had previously addressed his absence, and BPM’s statement serves to clarify and refute any misinformation regarding Taemin’s involvement with the group.
