Singer Yoon Jong Shin recently revealed that he has left South Korea, surprising fans with an update on his personal account on December 22nd.

Previously, Yoon Jong Shin had shared on the variety show ‘Master in the House’ his reasons for taking a year off from broadcasting and living abroad. Reflecting on his decision, he candidly admitted, “I was feeling burned out.”
He elaborated, “For 20 years, I never took a break from broadcasting. Every week, people saw my face and heard my voice. While I was grateful, I also felt exhausted. I wanted to disappear from people’s view for a while. It wasn’t to the point of having panic disorder, but I experienced burnout.”
Yoon Jong Shin also shared, “I once stopped at a rural rest area, and it was incredibly cold and empty. It was the first time in a long while that I felt such sadness, but it was good to feel that emotion. I spent nine months living under cold stares, and then back at the airport, I received familiar glances again. Strangely, the time I spent in unfamiliar places became a precious experience.”
His story drew significant attention at the time.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jong Shin, a singer and composer, married former tennis player Jeon Mira in 2006. The couple has one son and two daughters.
