Minji of NewJeans has expressed her feelings following the announcement of the group's termination of their exclusive contract.
On December 22nd, Minji posted on NewJeans’ new social media account, saying, “Thank you so much to the Bunnies who stayed strong and cheered for us until the end, even though today’s recording was long and the weather was cold.” She shared her gratitude with fans.
She added, “Performances with Bunnies are always memorable, but today feels like something I’ll remember for a long time. Thank you, as always. You’re all so cute and kind.”
Minji also hid the message “I’ll cry later when I can feel at ease” in a barely visible spot, which fans soon discovered.
That day, NewJeans participated in the pre-recording for MBC’s ‘Gayo Daejejeon’. According to multiple fan accounts from the event, some members, including Hanni, shed tears after finishing their stage.
Last month on November 28th, NewJeans held an emergency press conference to announce the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR.
The five members still had five years remaining on their contracts. Despite the announcement, the group continues to fulfill scheduled activities with ADOR.
The members have also created a new social media account separate from the one previously managed by ADOR, using it to connect with fans and signal their independent path.
