A highly anticipated meeting between actor Jung Hae In and G-Dragon has been confirmed.
Jung Hae In will join the cast of the new variety show 'GD and Friends' (working title), which will be produced by renowned producer Kim Tae Ho.
According to TenAsia's exclusive report on December 12, Jung Hae In has officially been cast for 'GD and Friends.'
Both born in 1988, Jung Hae In and G-Dragon are the same age. The two previously encountered each other on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' though they did not appear on-screen together.
During the show's taping, G-Dragon had just finished recording when Jung Hae In, who was waiting for his turn, greeted him. Jung Hae In said, “It’s nice to meet you for the first time. Actually, I’ve seen you before. I watched one of your concerts.” G-Dragon replied, “Aren’t we the same age? Let’s meet again next time.” This casual interaction has now evolved into an official meeting for 'GD and Friends.'
The variety show, 'GD and Friends,' is the latest project from Producer Kim Tae Ho of Theo Company. It will be a short-form variety series centered around G-Dragon and his close celebrity friends. Jung Hyung Don and Jo Se Ho have also been confirmed as part of the cast, adding to the excitement.
The show is expected to air on MBC, marking Producer Kim Tae Ho's return to MBC after three years since his departure. This development has already become a hot topic in the industry. Reports indicate that the first filming has already been completed.
