Singer-actor Lee Junho donates 100 million KRW to support pediatric and adolescent healthcare
Singer and actor Junho has made a generous donation of 100 million KRW (approximately 75,000 USD) to support the treatment of children and adolescents from underprivileged backgrounds.
The contribution has been made to the Samsung Medical Center, where the donation will be used for surgeries, transplants, rehabilitation treatments, and emotional support programs for pediatric and adolescent patients.
Through his agency, JYP Entertainment, Junho shared his thoughts, stating, “As Christmas approaches, I wanted to give back the love I’ve received and help children in need have a warm holiday season. I hope the upcoming new year brings health and dreams to more children. I want to continue showing care and love for those who need help.”
Junho has consistently made a positive impact through his philanthropic efforts. His relationship with the international relief NGO World Vision began in 2011 when he supported children in Ethiopia and Ghana. He was formally appointed as a World Vision ambassador in 2012, actively participating in initiatives such as the ‘Global 6K for Water’ campaign.
Junho has included child sponsorship promotion booths at his solo concerts, encouraging fan participation and fostering a culture of giving.
