G-Dragon shared some behind-the-scenes details about his appearance on Taeyang's concert stage.
On the October 30th episode of the cable channel tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block,' G-Dragon appeared as a guest and spoke about his surprise performance at Taeyang’s concert.
He admitted, “I didn’t expect to go on stage myself. We hadn’t made any formal plans. But Taeyang, being a longtime friend, knows how to handle me well and knows how to push my buttons." G-Dragon continued, "He was like, ‘You came all this way and aren’t going on stage? Fine, don’t then'," making the studio laugh.
He added, “The vibe was good when I arrived, and just in case, I checked the cue sheet and saw that a mic was ready for me after so long. It felt meaningful, I was in a good mood, and I knew our fans would be there.”
Reflecting on the moment, he shared, “Since it had been a while, I wanted to look cool on stage. But these guys, Taeyang and Daesung, treated me like I was a little kid. I wanted to make an impressive entrance.” He then humorously reenacted their reactions.
He added, “I was caught off guard for a second, but it was fun, and a lot of people enjoyed it.”
When Yoo Jae Suk mentioned the excitement fans must've felt seeing him perform “Good Boy” again, G-Dragon joked, “Honestly, neither of us can really be called a ‘boy’ anymore. I’ve done ‘Bad Boy,’ ‘Good Boy,’ all of it, but I’m not really a ‘boy’ at this point,” adding with a laugh, “More like a ‘Good Guy’ or maybe even a ‘Good Man.’”
