KATSEYE's Megan will be limiting her performance due to a back injury.
On September 16, KATSEYE's community manager revealed Megan suffered a back injury during the girl group's official schedule in Korea. Though it's a minor injury, she'll be limiting her participation in upcoming promotions and activities in Asia as advised by her physician.
Along with the announcement of KATSEYE's promotional activities in Japan, an update on Megan's condition was also posted. It's now been revealed Megan will be unable to perform for the remainder of KATSEYE's promotional tour in Asia in order to focus on her recovery.
KATSEYE's community manager posted as follows:
"Hello.
This is your KATSEYE community manager.
We regret to inform you that Megan’s ongoing back injury is continuing to limit Megan’s activities involving heavy performance. While Megan has made every effort to continue, her condition has unfortunately worsened, and after consulting with medical professionals she will step back from performances for the remainder of the Asia promotional tour.
Megan will focus on her recovery during this time, with the goal of returning stronger for future stages.
We understand this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and continued support for Megan and KATSEYE."
Megan also personally shared a message to fans on Weverse. She wrote, "Hi EYEKONS... unfortunately my back condition has gotten worse. The doctor and I came to the decision it would be best for me to rest and let my body fully heal for the remainder of the trip. I am devastated i wont be able to be there for the Japanese EYEKONS but i am making sure to do everything i can to get better so next time i could bring my 100%! Im so sorry and i will be back very soon! Thank you for all of your support I love you."
Stay tuned for updates on Megan and KATSEYE.
