Girls' Generation and BLACKPINK have been voted the 'Most Loved Girl Groups of the 21st Century.'
According to a survey conducted by Star News in collaboration with Gallup Korea from August 19 to 23, Girls' Generation and BLACKPINK received 42% of the votes for 'Most Loved Girl Groups of the 21st Century', tying for first place. The poll was taken by 1,052 men and women aged 19 to 69 with up to 2 responses allowed.
Leading the second-generation girl groups was Girls' Generation, while BLACKPINK led the third generation. NewJeans ranked in at #3 with 25% of the votes, Wonder Girls at 4th place with 21%, TWICE at 5th with 13%, 2NE1 at 6th with 10%, and IVE at 7th with 7%. In 8th place were aespa, KARA, and Red Velvet with 5%, A Pink, MAMAMOO, and SISTAR were at 11th place with 4%, T-ara and (G)I-DLE ranked 14th with 3%, Brown Eyed Girls and 4minute took 16th with 2%, and in 18th place were f(x), miss A, and SECRET with 1% each.
