EXO's Suho is set to embark on an adventure to Antarctica alongside Baek Jong Won, chef and CEO of The Born Korea.
According to industry insiders on September 25, Suho will appear on MBC's upcoming program 'Chef of Antarctica.' The show follows Baek Jong Won as he visits an Antarctic research base to prepare meals, with actors Lim Soo Hyang and Chae Jong Hyeop also joining the cast. Suho's involvement is expected to enhance the show's appeal and depth.
'Chef of Antarctica' is being produced by the same team behind MBC's renowned documentary 'Tears of the Antarctic' (2011–2012) and is slated to air in the first half of next year. The cast is scheduled to travel to Antarctica later this year.
Since debuting with EXO in 2012, Suho has become a prominent figure representing the second generation of K-pop idols. He has also successfully transitioned into acting, with roles in the drama 'Behind Your Touch' and the film 'One Way Trip.' Most recently, he starred in MBN's weekend mini-series 'Missing Crown Prince,' his first historical drama, which concluded in June. The show achieved a peak viewership rating of 5.1% (Nielsen Korea, national paid households), with Suho leading the way in its success.
