On August 23 at 12 AM KST, PLAVE's "WAY 4 LUV", the title track from the group's 2nd mini album 'Asterum : 134-1' hit #1 on Melon's 'Top 100' chart approximately 180 days after its release.
The feat came just 2 days after the virtual idol group's latest digital single, "Pump Up The Volume!", hit #1 on the same chart on August 21 at 12 AM KST.
With this, PLAVE has officially become the second ever K-Pop boy group to chart 2 songs on Melon's 'Top 100' after BTS.
Since the new chart was instated in August of 2021, only 6 male K-Pop idol groups have achieved the feat of hitting #1 on Melon's 'Top 100'. They are: BTS, Big Bang, NCT Dream, Seventeen, EXO, and PLAVE.
Meanwhile, PLAVE recently released their summer digital single, "Pump Up The Volume!", on August 20 at 6 PM KST.
