BOYNEXTDOOR is set to unveil a powerful hip-hop pre-release track as part of their upcoming mini album.
On August 27 KST, the group, under KOZ Entertainment, teased their new song “Parental Advisory” from their third mini album ‘19.99,’ heightening anticipation for their latest release.
Member Sungho shared his excitement, saying, “The moment I heard the song, I knew it had to be showcased on stage. Fans will see BOYNEXTDOOR’s playful charm.” Liu added, “The lyrics reflect the kind of innocent rebellion our age group can relate to. It’s the kind of song you wouldn’t want your parents to hear,” sparking curiosity about the track’s message.
Myung Jae Hyun revealed, “This is our first time presenting a strong hip-hop song. We worked hard to come up with fresh ideas during the production process,” expressing his enthusiasm for the new genre. Taesan emphasized, “The lyrics and theme are based on the members’ real experiences, which is a key point of this song. We paid close attention to highlighting each member’s individuality during recording.”
Lee Han mentioned, “When I first heard it, the unique beat made me excited for the performance,” while Woonhak confidently stated, “Throughout the production, I was convinced this was a unique and fun sound. Even as we prepared for our comeback, I felt a sense of pride.”
Set to be released on September 2 at 6 PM KST, “Parental Advisory” is a hip-hop track with a concise and intense beat, depicting a late-night rebellion that one wouldn’t want their parents to discover. Myung Jae Hyun, Taesan, and Woonhak took the lead in writing and composing the song, infusing it with playful yet irresistible energy.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s third mini album ‘19.99’ will be officially released on September 9 at 6 PM KST.
