(G)I-DLE's Soyeon has donated 100 million won ($72,360.21 USD) to victims of torrential rains.
On July 18, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association revealed, "Soyeon of (G)I-DLE generously donated 100 million won for the daily recovery of neighbors affected by heavy rainfall," announcing her appointment as a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club.
Soyeon herself also expressed, "I participated in this donation with the hope of providing some comfort to those effected by the recent heavy rainfall."
The (G)I-DLE member has consistently engaged in philanthropy, donating 20 million won ($14,470.52 USD) last year to assist those effected by earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. With this recent donation, she's been appointed as a member of the Hope Bridge Honors Club, a high-level individual donor club of Hope Bridge.
Soyeon plans to continue showing interest in the recovery of disaster-effected victims in the future.
