There have been speculations that TV personality Ham So Won is making a comeback to Korean broadcasting.

Han So Won made a surprise appearance in the trailer for the 8th episode of MBN's reality show 'Let's GO.' In the preview for the next episode, the MCs of the show were seen meeting with Han So Won and her children, who had recently moved to China from Vietnam.

The MCs warmly greeted Ham So Won and spent the time catching up with one another. Ham So Won continued to showcase her unchanging quirky personality. Ham So Won, "I froze my eggs at 38, and I got pregnant naturally at 43," when the MCs asked whether she wanted to return to Korea.

Korean netizens reacted, "It's good to see her for the first time in a long time," "She is still as quirky as ever," and others responded, "Is she returning to Korean broadcasting after the controversy about broadcast manipulation?" "Maybe she can do her broadcast but I don't think she should return to the main broadcast..."

On another front, Ham So Won is married to Jin Hua, a Chinese man 18 years her junior, and together, they have a daughter. Previously, they were featured on the TV Chosun show 'Taste of Wife,' where they shared glimpses of their daily lives. 

However, the program became embroiled in a scandal involving manipulation in April 2021. Subsequently, the production team of 'Taste of Wife' admitted to the broadcast manipulation, resulting in Ham So Won's departure from the show and its eventual cancellation.

Despite taking time for introspection, Ham So Won found herself caught in various controversies during her hiatus. These included instances of using inappropriate language, displaying controversial symbols, and violating quarantine protocols. Despite these challenges, she made a surprising return to broadcasting in 2022, just a year after her break.

However, her stance on the sudden manipulation controversy surrounding 'Taste of Wife' underwent a significant shift. She revealed, "The production team of 'Taste of Wife' visited me and suggested that the program's survival depended on my silence. Faced with the threat to the livelihoods of over 50 individuals, including cast and crew, due to my actions, I felt compelled to comply with the requests of 'Taste of Wife'." This statement reignited debates and controversies surrounding her. Last year, Ham So Won announced a period of rest, during which she disclosed plans to spend a year in Vietnam and Bangkok.
