'Sky Castle' and 'Mr. Queen' actor Song Min Hyung passes away

Veteran actor Song Min Hyung has passed away. 

According to media reports on April 3rd, the veteran actor passed away at the age of 70 after battling gallbladder cancer. He previously revealed that he won his fights against liver cancer for 4 times, but unfortunately, he succumbed to the disease this time. 

Actor Song Min Hyung debuted as a child actor in 1966. He appeared in multiple hit drama series including 'The Legend,' 'Sky Castle,' 'Hot Stove League' and 'Mr. Queen.' Most notably, he appeared as the father of Young-ae in the 'Rude Miss Young-ae,' which ran for 17 seasons from 2007 to 2019. 

May he rest in peace.
