Actor Jo Jung Suk, who debuted as a singer, exudes anticipation and excitement on the set of the showcase recording with the phrase 'I like it, I like it,' as he gently closes his eyes while wearing a headset.

On the evening of the 27th, the debut showcase of 'New Singer Jo Jung Suk' was held at 8 p.m. at Bluesquare in Hannam-dong, Seoul. The program, also named 'New Singer Jo Jung Suk,' is a debut project of actor Jo Jung Suk, who dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter, and it will be released through Netflix. Detailed stories will be revealed through the program.

From early hours, many fans who were selected through SNS applications visited the venue to celebrate Jo Jung Suk's debut. Fans flocked to the venue, with some arriving two hours before admission, even those who finished work early. They filled the venue, occupying various spots, engaging in conversations, and eagerly awaiting the admission time. 

In the open chat room of the portal site, they shared opinions about the dress code for the day, intensifying the atmosphere, as the production team threw out 'Jo Jung Suk' as the keyword for the dress code.

Fans wearing the iconic doctor's gown of Lee Ik Joon from tvN's drama 'Hospital Playlist,' a representative work of Jo Jung Suk, were easily recognizable, and rumors circulated about audience members wearing makeup from the musical 'Hedwig.' With a significant emphasis on the showcase, which is part of his debut project as a singer, many production staff and security personnel were deployed to prepare for any safety issues.

Filming took place under tight security. Admission was only possible with security stickers attached to both the front and back of smartphones, and the production team demonstrated a strict commitment to preventing external exposure of the showcase. 

One fan who visited the venue expressed in an interview with MyDaily, "I've been a fan of Jo Jung Suk for a long time, and I was so happy to hear the news of his debut as a singer. I've been deeply fascinated by Jo Jung Suk's charm through dramas like 'Jealousy Incarnate' and many others." She added, "I congratulate him on his debut as a singer, and I hope his new song will enter the music charts."

The showcase is scheduled to last for a total of 2 hours. Best friend Jung Sang Hoon takes charge as the entertainment agency representative, and comedian Moon Sang Hoon is also lending a hand. It's their first collaboration in eight years since 'Youth Over Flowers ICELAND' (2016).
