The legal representative for Lee Yun Jin, the interpreter and wife of actor Lee Bum Soo, currently undergoing a divorce, provided an update on her situation.

On March 25, Lee Yun Jin's legal representative spoke with OSEN through a phone call and stated, "The content Lee Yun Jin posted is all true. The last time she saw her son was when she came to Korea at the end of last year."

Previously, Lee Yun Jin stated through social media, "So Eul has been banned from entering the family home in Seoul solely because she chose to attend middle school overseas. As for me, who dared to request a divorce from the head of the household, I cannot enter the home unless it is by permission and while under complete surveillance by the head."

In particular, one netizen asked, "Do you have any idea how Da Eul is doing?" Lee Yun Jin directly responded in the comments, "If anyone knows about Da Eul, please message me."

Regarding this matter, Lee Yun Jin's legal representative explained, "Lee Yun Jin and her son are still not in contact. She has not heard any news about her son, Da Eul, and is eager to know about him."

Furthermore, Lee Yun Jin's side revealed, "We attempted a divorce under mutual agreement, but we applied for mediation due to a disagreement. However, the other party did not attend so the mediation did not proceed."

The legal representative added, "It's difficult for us to under the other party's intentions. He stated that he would proceed with the lawsuit. We wanted an amicable resolution but we ended up going through the lawsuit. We want to finalize the divorce as quickly as possible."

Meanwhile, Lee Bum Soo's agency, Y1 Entertainment, stated, "Lee Bum Soo is currently going through with a divorce mediation process. This is a private matter so we have not intervened or inquired details of this matter out of respect for the actor." 

Regarding the claims made by Lee Yun Jin on social media, the agency stated, "We will not respond individually to the articles written about the recent post made by Lee Yun Jin and we will directly address and refute the claims through a lawsuit. There are many things that Lee Yun Jin posted on social media that are different from the truth. In response, Lee Bum Soo is in a position to respond sincerely in the court of law."
