HYBE announced today that it will publish a new series of 'DARK MOON,' a globally renowned webcomic based on the original story of the K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN, 'CHILDREN OF VAMFIELD' by 'DARK MOON' (hereafter "CHILDREN OF VAMFIELD"). The story will be released in four languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish, with new episodes available weekly on NAVER WEBTOON starting March 16.
'CHILDREN OF VAMFIELD' is an omnibus web cartoon with four episodes that is a prequel to the previous hit 'DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR.' It follows the growth of the seven vampire boys over the past 200 years. Many of the mysteries that intrigued readers in 'DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR' such as the secrets of "Vamfield House," the childhood of the vampire boys, are unveiled in the new series.
Its sequel 'DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR' has gained significant traction on webcomic platforms in seven regions, including Latin America, North America, Germany, France, China, Thailand, and Indonesia – ranking in the top 3 within the Sunday Webtoon and Fantasy genre. As of December 2023, the series has accumulated 180 million views and is on the verge of surpassing 200 million views.
Following the release of 'CHILDREN OF VAMFIELD,' HYBE will also roll out 'DARK MOON: TWO MOONS' and 'DARK MOON: THE BLOOD OF VARGR' in due course later this year.
I love the Dark Moon series 😍
