Girls' Generation member and actress Kwon Yuri is ready to greet viewers with a different, mature image in her new film, 'Dolphin', premiering in theaters across South Korea in March.
'Dolphin', directed by Bae Doo Ri, tells the story of a small-town journalist in her 30's who has never left her provincial town. She encounters new and unfamiliar challenges in her life as she picks up the sport of bowling.
Kwon Yuri will be taking on her first ever title role in a big-screen film as the regional newspaper journalist, Na Young.
Previously, 'Dolphin' received praise at prestigious film festivals such as the 'Seoul Independent Film Festival', the 'Muju Mountain Film Festival', and the 'Vancouver Asian Film Festival' in Canada.
