tvN's highly anticipated new romance drama 'Queen of Tears' has confirmed its premiere in March of 2024. 

Written by Park Ji Eun of 'My Love from the Stars', 'The Legend of the Blue Sea', and 'Crash Landing on You' and directed by Jang Young Woo of 'Vincenzo' and 'Little Women', the new drama is a modern take on a classic romance between a prince and a princess. The story revolves around a chaebol princess and a small town prince from the countryside, as their happily ever after comes under threat of a bad ending. 

In the drama, Kim Soo Hyun will play the role of Baek Hyun Woo, born and raised in the countryside. With his big brains and wit, he becomes a talented lawyer and earns the title of legal director for 'Queens Group', even marrying the chaebol heiress of the conglomerate, Hong Hae In.

Opposite Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won takes on the character Hong Hae In, a third generation chaebol heiress and chief director of 'Queens Group'. Having lived a life of plenty, she has never once bent her will. 3 years into her marriage with a man from a very different background, Hong Hae In faces a threat and must exercise her authority to save her family. 

Also starring Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Lee Joo Bin, and more, 'Queen of Tears' is coming to tvN some time in March.
