Jimin and Jungkook were the last members of BTS to enlist for their mandatory military service on December 12. With all the members enlisted, fans now wait for 2025, when BTS is scheduled to return as a full group.
The two last members were sent off by the members Jin, J-Hope, and SUGA, and on December 14, Jin posted the last photos of Jimin and Jungkook with a touching caption.
Jin wrote, "I thought it would be funny but..tears are flowing" and posted a photo of himself with Jimin and Jungkook.
K-netizens and fans commented, "It's making me cry because he always writes something funny but this time..." "Jin cares for them so much," "I think he felt like crying because he saw Jungkook since Jungkook was 15 and now he's training him at the training center," "I can relate to how he feels," "Jin is like their mom of BTS," "It must've been hard training for him too but now he has to see the youngest member go through it," and "I think he felt like crying after seeing his younger brothers go through hard training."
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Jimin and Jungkook may be receiving their basic military training under Jin, who is currently serving as an assistant drill sergeant at the New Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi province, home of the 5th Infantry Division of the ROK Army.
We love you guys and Miss you...See you on 2025 💜🫰
