2023 has undoubtedly been the year of the girl group. With the legendary NBI (which stands for NewJeans, BLACKPINK, and IVE if you didn't already know) topping the charts for several months from the start of this year through to November, the women of K-Pop have been dominating their industry with every comeback thus far.
NewJeans has dominated the global K-Pop scene while BLACKPINK, who just renewed their contract with YG, continues to maintain strong popularity. IVE also continues to enjoy an increase in successful sales and worldwide notoriety.
The most significant change this year comes from aespa who climbed four spots in the ranking due to the popularity of their newest release, "Drama." Frequent covers and fan support skyrocketed them to the top of the latest monthly charts.
Rounding the list out at number 5 is LE SSERAFIM, who is fresh off their win of Singer of the Year at the 12th Circle Chart Music Awards.
With so many fans around the world participating in the global phenomenon that is K-Pop, how do you think next month's year-end chart will look? Who do you think will reign supreme in 2024?

Having Blackpink abbreviated with anyone but Red Velvet and Twice just doesn't feel right.
I don't know if Aespa was really SM’s attempt at a BLACKPINK 2.0 since they're the only 4 gen group I truly dig, but I say good for them.
