SM Entertainment's rookie boy group RIIZE made their first public appearance following the controversy surrounding member Seunghan.
On November 24, RIIZE appeared at the 18th W Korea Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign event held at the Four Seasons Hotel at Jongno-gu, Seoul. The group made their first public appearance as a six-member group following Seunghan's indefinite hiatus after the controversy over his private life.
Last week, various online communities were abuzz after several posts were created exposing past photos of the idol. In particular, one post claimed that Seunghan asserted his dominance over fellow idol trainees at SM Entertainment and his previous agency but also engaged in frequent bouts of bad-mouthing during Instagram Live sessions.
Due to the various controversies that arose surrounding Seunghan, SM Entertainment announced that he would be taking an indefinite hiatus from group activities.
K-netizens commented, "So the problematic member left the group?" "The group looks so much better," "I feel better seeing the group now. Sungchan is so good looking," "Wonbin and Sungchan are so handsome," "I can now memorize all the members' names now that one member left," "I'm glad they changed their hairstyles and also I like that it's six members," "The six-member lineup is not bad," "Wonbin and Sungchan look so good and Eunsuk now just needs to change his hairstyle," and "You can't even notice that one member left the group lol."
I do hope Seunghan will be able to come back to the group. I’m still planning on supporting the boys no matter what happens 💖
