Park Bo Young is in talks to star in the upcoming drama 'Melodramatic Movie'.

On November 17, reports revealed Park Bo Young had been cast in the new series 'Melodramatic Movie', and her label BH Entertainment stated, "Park Bo Young received an offer for the new drama 'Melodramatic Drama', and she's reviewing the offer in a positive light."

'Melodramatic Movie' is an upcoming drama by acclaimed writer Lee Na Eun, who's best known for the SBS drama 'Our Beloved Summer'. Choi Woo Sik was previously reported to be in talks to play the male lead in the series after starring in Lee Na Eun's 'Our Beloved Summer'.

The romantic-comedy will follow young individuals going through hardships with a brave face as they try to fulfill their dreams and find love. If cast, Park Bo Young will play the role of Kim Moo Bi, who works as an assistant director and becomes a film director, following in her father's footsteps.
