Actor Yoo Ah In is slated to be questioned by the prosecution unit on September 12 KST for the ongoing narcotics case against him.

The said questioning was scheduled by the Violent Crime Investigation Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. The investigation is scheduled to take place on September 12 KST with Yoo Ah In expected to provide his defence against allegations of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

Yoo Ah In was previously indicted, albeit without any form of detention, last June, accused of abusing an assortment of more than seven types of drugs. The list included Propofol, Cocaine, Ketamine, Marijuana, Zolpidem, Midazolam, and Alprazolam.

The police summoned Yoo Ah-in twice to interrogate him and then applied for an arrest warrant, saying there was a risk of destroying evidence and running away, but the court dismissed the request. Afterwards, the prosecution decided to reexamine the entire drug case of Yoo Ah In, which was handed over to the police, and is said to be considering requesting an arrest warrant again.
