According to an exclusive media outlet report on September 22 KST, Wake One Entertainment recently held a private meeting with representatives of the Kep1er members' respective agencies to discuss the possibility of the project group's contract extension.
An insider revealed, "Most of the agencies are in agreement over Wake One's pursuit of a contract extension. It is likely that the agencies will convene again in the remaining time to carry on further discussions."
When asked to comment regarding the news, Wake One Entertainment stated, "As the Kep1er project has progressed beyond the halfway point, it's true that Wake One Entertainment preemptively began measures to establish a clear and systemic roadmap for the artist's long-term promotions by making identical offers across the board for all of the members' agencies. However, no agreement has been reached as of now. In the remaining time permitted by the group's original contract, Wake One will continue mutual negotiations."
If all parties agree to the extension of Kep1er's project group contract, the group will be the first ever project team formed from an audition program to renew their exclusive contracts with a management label.
Meanwhile, Kep1er's 5th mini album 'Magic Hour' is set for release on September 25 at 6 PM KST.
I’m not going to lie, Kepler flopped after their release of UP! I don’t see anyone talking about them compared to IZ*ONE
