
TO1's Chan personally apologized for his durag controversy.
On August 3, Chan took to Instagram to post an apology in English and Korean for wearing a durag at 'KCON 2022 LA'. At the event in August of last year, Chan was seen wearing a durag during TO1's performance, and many criticized him for the alleged inappropriate cultural appropriation.
In his letter, Chan apologizes to those he may have offended with his outfit and expresses his respect for hip hop culture.
