This just confirms and proves that he left YG in his own will. He wants to do his own thing and realized idol life is not his thing anymore.

I'm sad because if he wants to go solo he should've done it from the beginning under YG or just start as a songwriter just like he wants to study music coz in YG I'm sure he will support him as much as he wants.. though things got complicated because he is under a group that's why going solo is not an option. And now he is starting in a smaller label I'm not sure if they can support him 100% since it's a small label. Unless he debut with 100% success rate or if he is there as a songwriter i hope that whatever he makes get charted higher and get more popular.
