BTS' Jungkook celebrated his 26th birthday on September 1 KST.

On this special day, fans eagerly awaited to flood social media with heartfelt messages and well-wishes for their beloved idol. This loyal fanbase made sure Jungkook was able to be surrounded by love on his birthday.

In response to this overwhelming wave of affection, Jungkook took to Weverse to personally thank his fans. He wrote a sincere message expressing his appreciation for the love and support he had received on his birthday.

He wrote:

"Hello everyone. This is Jungkook. It's my birthday :) As time goes by, birthdays don't feel as significant, but because the time you all have given me is so precious, I am writing this to leave a clear mark on this day. But I find that the expressions I can use are somewhat limited, haha.

Today, just like always, I think I'll say the same things I've said to you all before. I'm just always grateful, and I know that the time we spend together is precious. I know I'm loved. And I love you very much.

These days, I'm having incredibly happy days. I did have some confidence that things were going well, but still, I'm sure I wouldn't be where I am without you all, hehe.
