The Korea Brand Index Research Institute has newly introduce a brand value rankings category for K-Pop rookie groups, identifying the category as any K-Pop group debuted in 2022 or later.
First instated in April, the new category has just revealed its updated rankings for May~June. In order to determine the brand value rankings, the Korea Brand Index Research Institute analyzed big data of K-Pop rookie groups debuted in 2022 or later from May 8 through June 8, assessing brand data in areas such as consumer participation, media activity, communication, community activity, etc.
So which K-Pop rookie groups led the brand value rankings list for May~June? First, the undisputed #1 rookie girl group debuted in 2022 or later, NewJeans, took up the #1 spot with a total of 3,795,700 brand value points. Second, the Billboard-charting rookie girl group FIFTY FIFTY followed closely behind with 3,472,584 points, while LE SSERAFIM took up third place with 2,723,057 points. The rising girl group H1-KEY took up fourth place for May~June with 1,155,531 points total.
