Oh My Girl has hinted at their first comeback as a 6-member group.
Since March of 2022, the girl group has made an informal halting of full group activities while focusing on their individual promotions. On May 28, however, member Yubin took to Weverse where she hinted at "something big" to a fan's question asking about a comeback.
She wrote: "There is something big coming."
Meanwhile, since February of this year, several members have also answered inquiries about an impending comeback, with replies such as: "We are preparing hard," "We are writing the lyrics," "We are working on the chorus."
Oh My Girl debuted as an 8-member girl group in 2015. Following JinE's departure in 2017, the group was active over years, amassing popularity especially through the Mnet show, 'Queendom.' Then, in May of 2022, Jiho parted ways with WM Entertainment with a hand-written letter and has signed an exclusive contract with P& Studio for a new acting career.
This upcoming comeback, which appears to be imminent, will be Oh My Girl's first comeback as a 6-member group.
What kind of concept do you expect?
Good for them! Hope they have a summer hit!
