Jimin's first official solo project has earned massive success worldwide, cementing his name in history as an icon of an era. He has specially made major waves in all top three of the biggest music markets in the world, the USA, Japan, and the UK, by making history as the first and only Korean/Asian soloist to top some of the most prestigious and competitive charts in the markets, such as the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, which has become the hot talk in all parts of the world. There are other official charts that Jimin also emerged at the top as the first and only Korean soloist to peak at #1 and/or spend multiple weeks at #1.

For example, Jimin dominated the UK market to become the highest charting Korean soloist in the history of the UK Official Singles chart, which was also the first top 10 entry by a Korean soloist [read more here]. Besides that, Jimin has also written history on the Billboard Artist 100 chart in Japan and the USA. He ranked #1 on Billboard Artist 100 USA chart, becoming the first and only Korean soloist to ever rank #1 on the chart.

As previously reported, he had also ranked #1 on Billboard Japan Artist 100 chart among topping many other charts in the country, again becoming the first and only Korean soloist as well as the first foreign solo artist to achieve this feat.

As such, Jimin became the first and only Asian soloist in history to rise to the top of both the USA and the Japan Billboard Artist 100 charts, another commendable achievement for him as a solo artist.

Back to the USA, Jimin again ranked #1 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with 'Like Crazy,' making it his 3rd solo #1 hit on the chart after 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and 'With You.' With this, Jimin now became the Korean soloist with the most #1 hits on the chart, setting yet another impressive record!

'Like Crazy' single has also been named the top selling song in the USA last week, which was its debut week, according to the HITS Daily Double Song Revenue chart.
